Commercial Driver's License Certification

Delaware Tech’s CDL curriculum combines classroom study with practical experience behind the wheel of diesel-powered tractor trailers on a private training range, as well as public streets and highways. You’ll also learn the intricacies of handling a variety of truck types and cargo, conducting required inspections, proper reporting and documentation requirements, and trip-planning techniques – all in a small-class-size environment. This certificate program is available in a structured environment of weekday and evening/weekend study. You’ll gain the knowledge and skills necessary to earn your CDL Class A Driver’s License.
