Program Description

WIOA Eligible Program
This program is approved for federal funding under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which means individuals who meet certain criteria may qualify for financial assistance.
Once completing this program, participants will hold their Nationally recognized OSHA-10 Construction Safety Certification as well as be able to frame walls, ceilings, and floors of a structure, install siding and roofing materials, install and finish drywall, utilize proper painting techniques, mix and install concrete and concrete blocks, interpret construction drawings, and install the proper wiring and piping for basic electrical and plumbing systems. This program was developed using the National Center for Construction Education & Research (NCCER) training materials and curriculum guidelines. Minimum Requirements: Must be at least 18 and read at a minimum 9th grade skill level.
