Program Description

WIOA Eligible Program
This program is approved for federal funding under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which means individuals who meet certain criteria may qualify for financial assistance.
Delaware Tech’s state of-the-art heating and air conditioning labs at our New Castle and Bridgeville locations allow us to provide exceptional hands-on training and industry preparation. Participants can complete the entire HVAC Certificate Program and be job-ready in four months! The program includes the following. OSHA Safety Training, HVAC Components, Schematic Diagrams, Electrical Controls, Scale & Blueprint Reading, Estimates & Calculations, Heating Systems (Gas, Electric, Oil, Heat Pumps, Hydronic), Refrigeration Theory, Air Conditioning Systems, Refrigerants, Commercial Rooftop AC Units, Walk-In Refrigerators, Commercial Freezers and Ice Makers, Building Automation Systems (BAS), Ductwork & Plenum Fabrication, EPA 608 Certification Exam Prep, and the EPA 608 Certification Exam Minimum Requirements: Must be 18, read above a 9th grade level, and have have at least 9th grade level math skills.
