The Emergency Medical Technician program prepares students to provide advanced prehospital emergency care under medical command authority to acutely ill or injured patients. Students will recognize, assess, and manage a medical or trauma emergency, record and communicate pertinent data to designated medical command authority, and direct and coordinate the transport of the patient.

The Sussex Tech Adult Education Forklift Certification Training program prepares students to earn an industry recognized Forklift License compliant with OSHA standards.  The license enables students to drive class IV LPS forklift vehicles.  The 4-hour program is offered in the evening, allowing participants to work and train at the same time (opportunities for daytime training will also be offered).  The program includes classroom instruction, and on-site forklift driving.  Each participant will be required to demonstrate the gained knowledge and skills required to safely operate a

The Electrical program will prepare students to install residential and commercial electrical systems, wiring and other electrical components such as circuit breakers, generators, switches and light fixtures, to follow blueprints, to understand the National Electrical Codes and is the approved formal pathway to electrical licensing.
