The Python Programmer Certificate program teaches students how to create scripts in the Python language that manipulate data, automate tasks and handle errors. The Python certificate program also covers how to access relational databases and make sophisticated data queries using SQL. Through hands-on lab exercises students will also learn to use the IDLE integrated development environment for their python application development.

The Plumbing program at Polytech Adult Education provides the related instruction required to complete a State of Delaware Electrical Apprenticeship. Upon completion of this program and the required on-the-job training requirement, graduates are eligible to earn their Journeyperson credential through the Delaware Department of Labor.
The Plumbing program offers technical instruction to successfully build a career in the plumbing industry. Course content encompasses plumbing theory, practices and applications to industry. The program prepares students to install, maintain, and repair the many different types of plumbing systems in residential and commercial environments. Job placement services and licensing navigation assistance are available.
This program prepares participants to work as phlebotomy technicians in clinical and laboratory settings. Course topics include Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Fundamentals of Phlebotomy, NHA Certification Prep, and an 80-hour externship in a clinical setting. Individuals who complete this program are eligible to sit for the NHA Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) exam. Cost of books is included in tuition.
The Phlebotomy Technician Program will teach you how to obtain patient's blood specimens by venipuncture and micro-collection for testing purposes, and to collect blood and other specimens from clients for purpose of laboratory analysis.  This class is computer-based, hybrid course that is instructor led.
Physical Therapist Assistants are licensed healthcare workers who provide physical therapy services under the supervision and direction of the physical therapist. They assist with data collection, implement delegated patient interventions, modify interventions within the established plan of care, participate in discharge planning and follow-up care, document the care provided, and educate and interact with healthcare team members including families, caregivers, students, and patients.
