Medical Assistants perform routine administrative and clinical tasks to keep the offices and clinics of physicians, podiatrists, chiropractors, and optometrist offices running smoothly. The Medical Billing & Coding Specialist Certificate Program trains students to analyze health records in detail to assign the accurate ICD-10 and CTP codes, code healthcare services and file insurance claims for third-party insurance reimbursement. It is a computer based, hybrid course that is instructor led.
