Program Description
WIOA Eligible Program
This program is approved for federal funding under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which means individuals who meet certain criteria may qualify for financial assistance.
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training Program of 180 hours will include classroom instruction, lab, and a clinical experience. Students learn to safely perform basic nursing skills under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a health care facility.
Communication, observation and documentation skills are incorporated to aid the student in meeting the psychological, physical and environmental needs of the patient. Following successful completion of this course, the student will be qualified to take the Nurse Aid Competency Examination for certification.
Minimum 10.0 grade-level equivalent in Reading required.
