Program Description

WIOA Eligible Program
This program is approved for federal funding under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which means individuals who meet certain criteria may qualify for financial assistance.
Learn how to safely perform basic nursing skills under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a healthcare facility. Communication, observation, and documentation skills are incorporated to aid in meeting the psychological, physical and environmental needs of the patient. Following successful completion of this course, you will be qualified to take the Delaware Nurse Aid Competency Exam for certification. Tuition includes textbook, exam fee, supplies, BLS certification, and criminal background/drug screening. Prerequisite: Attendance at an information session. Internship/clinical experience included (hours may vary from course schedule). Minimum 10.0 grade-level equivalent in Reading required

Outcomes & Opportunities
