Program Description

WIOA Eligible Program
This program is approved for federal funding under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which means individuals who meet certain criteria may qualify for financial assistance.
Unity Career Institute Nursing Assistant Program is a 4 week course designed to teach and prepare nursing assistant students to safely perform the basic nursing skills needed to work under the supervision of a licensed/registered nurse in a health care setting. The program curriculum covers areas such as, respect of resident's right to privacy, dignity, independence, promotion of resident safety, infection control, psychosocial needs physiology and much more. After completing your Nurse Assistant Certificate Program, you will be prepared for entry-level employment as a Certified Nurses Aide (CNA), following certification by the State of Delaware. We offer Day, Evening and Weekend programs.
