Program Description

WIOA Eligible Program
This program is approved for federal funding under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which means individuals who meet certain criteria may qualify for financial assistance.

Sleep recordings are made during the patient's usual sleep hours; techs may work during the night usually in 10 - 12-hour shifts. This program was developed in accordance with the American Academy of Sleep Medicine (AASM) A-STEP program and with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (BRPT) STAR program. Together with the recommended work experience and completion of the 26 AASM A-STEP self-study modules, this course will prepare you to sit for the Certified Polysomnographic Technician (CPSGT) exam. Tuition includes textbooks and BLS certification. Minimum 10.0 grade-level equivalent in Reading and Math required.
