Intro to JAVA provides students with the beginning knowledge and skills needed to design, write, and implement basic JAVA programs. Topics include logic/algorithm development, control structures, variables, input/output, modular designs, debugging techniques, beginning use of classes and objects, and object-oriented programming concepts. Students will write programs that implement basic topics mentioned above to solve simple problems. The ITWorks program helps prepare young adults (18 -26 years old) for entry-level IT careers without the need for a degree. Through a 16-week program provided at no cost, students are taught industry-led skills to pass the CompTIA A+ certification.

This will enable students to prepare for networking-related positions such as Systems Administrator, Systems Engineer, Network Engineer, Network Manager, and IT Technology Manager. In this program, students will study how to build, maintain and monitor LAN, WAN, and other segments of network systems. This program covers courses on Windows Server Administration, Active Directory Administration, Virtualization, VMware Management, Linux System Administration, Cisco Switches, Router configuration, Network Cyber Security, CCNA and AWS and Azure Cloud Security.
