Delaware Tech’s highly regarded HVAC Technician Certificate program will prepare students to enter the high demand HVAC industry. Students completing the 300-hour program will be highly skilled in all aspects of heating, refrigeration and air conditioning. Delaware Tech’s state of-the-art heating and air conditioning labs at our New Castle and Bridgeville locations allow us to provide exceptional hands-on training and industry preparation.
The HVAC-R program is designed to develop career ready technicians.  Course work includes HVAC and refrigerant theory, practices, and the latest industry technology.  The program prepares students to install, maintain, and repair many different types of HVAC and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial environments.  Job placement services and licensing navigation assistance is available.  
The mission of the Human Services Program is to provide students with an educational foundation which will allow them to successfully gain entry level employment within the human services arena and/or to succeed in continuing their education at a baccalaureate level upon graduation.
The Home Health Aide program is ideal for English Language Learners interested in pursuing a career in the healthcare field. Students will be prepared to provide companion, homemaker and personal care services.

This comprehensive program provides practical information for counseling, understanding human behavior, and policy/program development, with internship opportunities that provide real work experience. Through the program, you’ll learn how to help people overcome obstacles in their lives by developing your interpersonal and intercultural communication skills. You’ll also acquire knowledge of important theories in counseling psychology and human development in order to serve individuals and groups experiencing needs related to poverty, abuse, neglect, mental illness, disability, crime
Monitor the health status of an individual with disabilities or illness, and address their health-related needs, such as changing bandages, dressing wounds, or administering medication. Work is performed under the direction of offsite or intermittent onsite licensed nursing staff. Provide assistance with routine healthcare tasks or activities of daily living, such as feeding, bathing, toileting, or ambulation. May also help with tasks such as preparing meals, doing light housekeeping, and doing laundry depending on the patient's abilities
The program provides a comprehensive training on personal care, hygiene, the role of the home health aide, Patient’s bill of rights, client safety, and confidentiality.
