Bear Professional Institute’s Nursing Assistant Program is a six-week course designed to teach and prepare nursing assistant students to safely perform the basic nursing skills needed to work under the supervision of a licensed/ registered nurse in a health care setting. The program curriculum covers areas such as, fundamentals of nursing, anatomy and physiology, infection control, and psychosocial needs, to name a few.
