Program Description

WIOA Eligible Program
This program is approved for federal funding under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), which means individuals who meet certain criteria may qualify for financial assistance.
Bear Professional Institute’s Nursing Assistant Program is a six-week course designed to teach and prepare nursing assistant students to safely perform the basic nursing skills needed to work under the supervision of a licensed/ registered nurse in a health care setting. The program curriculum covers areas such as, fundamentals of nursing, anatomy and physiology, infection control, and psychosocial needs, to name a few.  Upon Completion of the program, the Nursing Assistant will be able to implement skills learned throughout the program in a health care setting, and demonstrate preparedness to take the Delaware State Nursing Assistant Certification Exam 

Outcomes & Opportunities
