This course is certified by the National Health Career Association (NHA). Students are trained to perform a variety of blood collection methods using proper techniques and precautions. Classes are taught through in-person and online lecture, student laboratory, and clinical experiences.

Students will be trained to perform the duties of a pharmacy technician in both retail and hospital settings. Program elements include pharmacy theory and lab, including pharmacy fundamentals, math, physiology, records and inventory, and HIPAA regulations and compliance.

Learn how to safely perform basic nursing skills under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a healthcare facility. Communication, observation, and documentation skills are incorporated to aid in meeting the psychological, physical and environmental needs of the patient.
