The Polytech Adult Education CDL Class A Training prepares students to earn a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), Class A license, enabling them to drive all classes of commercial vehicles. The program is offered on a part-time evening basis and prepares participants for the written exam, yard training, including vehicle inspection and on-site driving in a controlled environment, and supervised over-the-road driving.
Class A CDL Preparatory Driving graduates will be prepared for employment as commercial truck drivers, transporting goods from one location to another. Due to the short-term nature of this program, these opportunities will be primarily with long-haul, or over the road carriers.
The Sussex Tech Adult Education CDL-B driver training prepares students to earn a Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class B License, enabling them to drive many types of commercial vehicles.
At our training academy, you can complete your CDL-A training in four short weeks and become eligible for employment in the trucking industry within the fifth week. Our full-time program provides 160 hours of classroom and behind-the-wheel instruction and testing , Mondays through Fridays from 7 am to 3 pm.
160 Driving Academy will give you all the knowledge and practice you need with 4 weeks of instruction in the classroom and in-depth training behind the wheel. Our CDL Class A certification course will prepare you to drive a "Class A" truck in any US state. You will be thoroughly prepared for your exam after 40 hours in the classroom and practice driving on local and interstate roads.
