Students will be trained to perform the duties of a pharmacy technician in both retail and hospital settings. Program elements include pharmacy theory and lab, including pharmacy fundamentals, math, physiology, records and inventory, and HIPAA regulations and compliance.

Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) play a crucial role in the healthcare team. This course equips students with the essential skills and knowledge to deliver patient care and support in a hospital environment, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or nursing team. Upon successful completion, students will be eligible to sit for the National Healthcare Association (NHA) Patient Care Technician certification exam.

Learn how to safely perform basic nursing skills under the supervision of a licensed nurse in a healthcare facility. Communication, observation, and documentation skills are incorporated to aid in meeting the psychological, physical and environmental needs of the patient.
