The Winter Apprenticeship covers the foundational knowledge of the skilled trades. You will learn basic work site safety, introduction to construction math, safe and proper operation of hand tools, power tools. You will learn how to use and read construction drawings, basic rigging, identifying and handling different construction materials.
Classes are held Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 3:30 PM to 7:00 PM. This 107-hour, 10 week training course will prepare the successful student with the skills required to secure a job as an entry-level welder.
